Blue Aurora

S$8.50Price

Famous for it's blue dye colour when steeped in hot water. This amazing butterfly pea flower changes colour when PH level changes to acidic. Added lemon juice to change from magic blue to purple.

This tea leaves is mostly used for baking and act as food dye in food such as Nasi Kerabu. All it takes is just a few counts of flower petals to get that rich deep ocean blue colour.

  • How to brew

    1. Add in about 3 to 4 petals of butterfly pea flower in hot water
    2. Let it steep for about 10 to 15 mins until you see a deep blue colour
    3. Naturally this tea has less taste. Best to go for baking of cookies, scones or even for rice as food dye.
